Morden Fort Limited Warranty Policy

Our furniture is crafted with care and offered at accessible prices so more people can create spaces they truly love. This warranty reflects not only our commitment to quality, but also our desire to stand beside you with fairness, clarity, and genuine support throughout your ownership experience.
2.Warranty Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover issues resulting from normal wear and tear, accidental damage, natural disasters, misuse, abuse, improper assembly, improper care and storage. To help preserve the beauty and performance of your furniture, please refer to the care guide provided on the product listing, or contact our customer service team at csr@mordenfort.com for detailed maintenance advice.
Many of our furniture pieces feature natural materials, handcrafted details, or finishes intentionally designed to celebrate organic beauty and authentic texture. Variations such as natural wood grain differences, fine knots, mineral streaks, veining in faux marble or sintered stone, slight tone variations, or light distressing in weathered finishes are all inherent to the materials and artistry of the product. These features do not affect durability or performance and are not considered defects. They are part of the individuality of each piece and reflect our design philosophy: furniture with warmth, character, and a naturally lived-in charm.
3.Coverage Scope
3.1 Basic Warranty Principles
- Warranty Duration:
Morden Fort provides a 1-Year Limited Warranty, beginning on the original purchase date. - Geographic Eligibility:
Warranty coverage applies only within the 48 contiguous United States. Services and replacements cannot be provided outside this region. - Residential Use Only:
This warranty applies exclusively to residential, non-commercial Damage resulting from commercial, rental, hospitality, or industrial environments is excluded. - Preferred Resolution Approach:
When a warranty issue is confirmed, Morden Fort will first attempt resolution through replacement parts. If a part replacement cannot reasonably resolve the issue, further remedies will be evaluated.
3.2 Indoor Furniture Warranty Principles
These terms apply to indoor furniture categories, including sofas, sectionals, chairs, ottomans, dining furniture, sideboards, storage units, coffee tables, side tables, and similar items.
Upholstered Seating (Sofas, Sectionals, Chairs, Ottomans)
Morden Fort warrants that:
- The frameand spring support system will not break due to defects in materials or workmanship.
- Issues such as seam slippage, faulty buttons, or malfunctioning zippers resulting from manufacturing defects are covered.
Not covered under warranty:
- Softening, flattening, or changes in cushion resilience over time.
- Loss of plumpness or sagging due to normal use and body impression formation.
These are normal and expected characteristics of upholstered comfort materials.
Wood Furniture (Sideboards, Tables, Storage Cabinets, etc.)
We warrant that:
- The frame, legs, and tabletopswill not break due to material or manufacturing defects.
Not covered:
- Natural wood grain variation, knots, color shifts, mineral streaks, and fine seams.
- Light distress marks or tonal variation in weathered or hand-finished surfaces.
These are normal expressions of natural or distressed wood and do not indicate defects.
Motion & Convertible Furniture (Recliners, Gliders, Swivel Chairs, Sleeper Sofas)
We warrant that:
- Motion mechanisms, reclining systems, and sleeper structures will not become inoperable due to material or construction defects.
General Principle
For items or components not listed above, Morden Fort applies the same core approach:
- Structural, mechanical, and manufacturing defects are covered.
- Changes due to natural material properties or normal use are not.
Morden Fort reserves the right to introduce or refine category-specific terms in response to market feedback and product improvement.
4.Warranty Definition
To help you clearly understand the protection offered, the following terms are defined:
4.1 Meaning of “Warranty”
For the purposes of this Limited Warranty, “warranty” refers to Morden Fort’s obligation to repair, replace, or provide an appropriate remedy for qualifying defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal residential use during the defined warranty period.
4.2 Definition of a “Defect”
A “defect” is a failure of the product to perform as intended due solely to the manufacturing process.
The following are not considered defects:
- Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper handling
- Changes caused by insufficient maintenance
- Normal wear from daily use
- Natural or intentional variations in materials and finishes
4.3 Conditions That Void the Warranty
This warranty becomes void if the product:
- Is used in a commercial, rental, office, or hospitality environment
- Is misused, mishandled, reupholstered, modified, or altered without authorization
- Has been repaired or serviced by non-authorized parties
- Has been exposed to environmental conditions outside recommended indoor residential use
4.4 Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights depending on your state of residence. These rights vary and may offer further protections beyond this document.
4.5 Effective Date
This Limited Warranty applies to products purchased on or after November 20, 2025.
5.Warranty Service
5.1 Remedy Process
If a covered warranty issue is confirmed, Morden Fort may provide one or more of the following remedies:
- Replacement Parts (Preferred First Step)
Whenever practical, replacement parts will be provided to resolve the issue efficiently and sustainably. - Full Product Replacement
If the issue cannot be resolved through parts, a full replacement may be provided. - On-Site Repair (When Applicable)
If both parties agree that on-site repair is the most reasonable solution, Morden Fort will coordinate a repair plan accordingly. - Paid Replacement Services (For Non-Warranty Issues)
When an issue does not qualify for warranty coverage, customers may choose our optional paid replacement service—available for select products and components.
The appropriate remedy is determined based on the nature of the issue, item category, and practicality of each option. In no case shall Morden Fort be liable for more than the purchase price of the furniture or for incidental or consequential damages. This may not apply when your state does not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages.
5.2 How to File a Warranty Claim
You may initiate a claim through either method below:
- Through the Retail Platform
Use the customer service or claims portal provided by the retailer where the item was originally purchased (e.g., Home Depot Customer Service Portal). - Through Morden Fort Customer Service

6.Limitations of Liability
This Limited Warranty does not cover issues arising from normal wear and tear, accidental damage, natural disasters, misuse, abuse, improper assembly, or improper care and storage. Many Morden Fort pieces feature natural materials, handcrafted details, or finishes intentionally designed to celebrate organic beauty and authentic texture. Variations such as unique wood grain patterns, fine knots, or natural veining in stone are inherent characteristics of the materials and craftsmanship. These variations do not affect the product’s durability or performance and are not considered defects.
This warranty does not apply to Clearance Items (including those marked “As-Is,” “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” or similar), Floor Samples, Custom-Made Items, One-of-a-Kind pieces, or Open-Box Purchases. Products purchased through unauthorized resellers or third-party marketplaces are excluded from all warranty coverage.
To the extent permitted by law, Morden Fort’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement remedies described herein. Morden Fort reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy based on practicality, availability, and product condition. Replacement items or parts do not extend or restart the original warranty period. Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. We are not responsible for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages—including, but not limited to, loss of use, inconvenience, or any costs associated with removal, reinstallation, inspection, or transportation of the product. No agent, representative, or reseller is authorized to modify or expand these warranty terms.
This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided for Morden Fort products. No other express or implied warranties apply, and Morden Fort specifically disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty does not cover any assurances or obligations beyond what is defined herein. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Morden Fort also disclaims all liability for damages arising from negligence or strict product liability.
Compliance with these terms is a condition of warranty coverage. Any violation—including misuse, improper handling, unauthorized repair or modification, or use in non-household or commercial environments—will void this warranty. Morden Fort products are designed exclusively for residential use and are not intended for commercial settings such as hotels, restaurants, rental properties, or any location where the product is subject to public use. Morden Fort assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss resulting from such commercial use.
By purchasing Morden Fort products online or through an authorized retailer, the purchaser acknowledges and accepts the terms of this Limited Warranty.
